Primary care research nurses nominated for OUH Award

Congratulations to the amazing team of research nurses working in the Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit who have been shortlisted as finalists in the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Staff Recognition Awards 2021.

The nursing team was shortlisted from 1400 nominations of people who all deserve our thanks and appreciation for their efforts during the pandemic which has affected everyone both personally and professionally.

The department is delighted that the dedication and hard work of the primary care nursing team has been recognised.

Emma Ogburn, Director of Operations at the Clinical Trials Unit at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care said:

“This is a huge achievement for the team, and richly deserved. They always work tremendously hard and never more so these last two years on our COVID-19 priority trials.”

The nursing team are invited to attend an Awards Ceremony at Oxford Town Hall on Thursday 9 June where the winners will be announced.

Held at Milton Hill House Hotel in Abingdon, the symposium was an opportunity for researchers from all backgrounds to network, learn about opportunities to take part in current trials, and discuss the future of primary care research.
